Why a paramed exam?
Their function is to provide insurance coverage providers with the necessary information to underwrite your policy based upon your medical profile at the time of exam. An appointment is made with Portamedic, a nationally recognized examination company independently contracted with all major insurance coverage providers.

What can I expect and how long will it take?
A paramedical examination includes some questions about your history, dimensions of your height and weight, hypertension level and pulse. A pee sample is also gathered. Undressing is not required and the examination usually continues 20 to 30 minutes. Your application for insurance is not complete until we have obtained this necessary information.

Why will a pee sample be collected?
A pee sample will always be gathered during a paramedical examination. The assessments done are identified by the plan provider and are conducted by a clinical. The analyze results will be sent only to the plan provider and are used in the underwriting process.

What happens to this information?

All of the details obtained during the paramedical evaluation is totally private and for insurance coverage requirements only. It will be sent to the plan provider for review to help assess your individual policy.

Why is blood vessels examining required?
Blood examining has been found to provide important info for underwriting requirements. A variety of assessments are completed by a clinical and the results are sent only to the plan provider.

How much blood vessels is required?
